Right in the heart of Louisiana, Missouri lays the historic McCune College. A large two and a half
story brick building, nestled on the corner of Seventh street and South Carolina. Although the appearance may no longer resemble
the old college, after the turn of the century and the building became a residence extensive remodeling was done, many of
the parts of the building still hold the unique 1800's touch.
It is now my goal to give back to this wonderful building it's history. Information on the buildings
days as a College are scarce and difficult to tract down, but I hope with this site others may help me in my endevor to bring
back a lost peice of American history and who knows perhaps my site will also serve as a helping hand to someone's geneology
search along the way (if so please let me know.... i may even have futher information in the books and papers I have
for my research and we can help each other).
